Facilities and Infrastructure

Campus life at SDMIT is confidently amongst the best atmospheres an institution can manage to provide for the holistic growth of young minds. The academic growth is firmly rooted in religious, disciplinary, social, and progressive values, as validated by every student who has experienced campus life here. Not only does the campus provide all the facilities required for a student to thrive on intellectual and personal levels, but it also ensures that the students are pushed beyond their boundaries to implement their learning and produce noteworthy outcomes.

Hostel facility for boys and girls, (with a total capacity of 2140 students) with bath-attached rooms and hygienic food, is available within the campus. The hostel inmates are provided with a gym facility, playground, yoga/prayer hall, reading room, medical care, security, etc.

The academic library is the real powerhouse of any educational institution and conveys its integral role in supporting the core mission of higher education. SDMIT library is housed in a separate 2-storied building with an area of 1,300 sq.m with modern amenities and facilities. The infrastructure has a centralized facility with a seating capacity of 300 and an open-access system for users. It has 35,000 printed resources of books in 6,651 titles, journals, bound volumes, and student project reports.

2. Students are provided with physical trainers in sports, games, and athletics.

3. The college teams and students regularly participate in various National, State, and University Level competitions.

4. Students may engage themselves during their free hours in any cultural clubs such as Beats, Quiz, Debate, Orators, Dance, etc.

5. Musical instruments are also available for cultural training and practice.

6. Inter-class and Inter-departmental sports and cultural events are regularly conducted in the college.

7. Sports and Fitness facilities, Football/Basketball courts, Gymnasium, and a Swimming pool are also available on the campus.

Admission

1. Visit the Admissions Section at SDMIT college campus, meet the Admission Coordinator, and get your documents verified.

2. Once the seat has been confirmed, candidates need to fill in and submit the application form along with the documents specified below, and pay the requisite fee.

3. Applicants are required to read the application form carefully before filling it up. The application is a key part of the admission process. Providing false information/ fake certificates is offensive and such or incomplete applications will be rejected.

4. All admissions are provisional and subject to the final approvals from DTE and University.
